I am powerless.

When the kids see a puddle of water, or better yet mud, I might as well just surrender. Splashing in the stuff is one of my kids’ most favorite things in the world. How could I deprive them of that? It would be a waste of energy to try anyway. I’m outnumbered.

Even when we were at an awesome park, they found the only puddle remaining from some rain, and it was the main attraction. 478763_4548529922187_1226494386_o

And getting soaking wet never stops them from continuing to play, even with mud-filled shoes. I wish I could as free-spirited as my little ones.242923_4548532682256_1793336966_o

Okay, so sometimes I get into the fun. 621611_4548531682231_61042581_o

Since they love this activity to much, sometimes we go to parks we know will have a lot of puddles after a rainstorm just to splash around. It’s only a few wet clothes and shoes, but they sure sleep well that night. So worth it.

I love that you can be the most awesome Mom by just letting kids play in mud puddles!
