Ugh.

Healing is hard. When you've been off your feet for so long, it's even harder. Now I'd actually prefer to be horizontal because that's what my body is used to. Gravity is really doing a number on me. But, I sleep like a baby, no medications needed. My own bed with KC next to me is the best sleeping pill there ever was.

The babies are doing great and gaining some grams. Every gram counts! They are also eating my very own milk. Through a tube, of course, but still, I am feeding them! The nurses say they are feisty little people, which I love.

My Grandma and Dad arrived last night. I was so happy to see them, and happy that my mom could be reunited with her love.

Just some thoughts this morning.
(And Ruby wanted to say good morning.)

Hello Ruby! What a sweet precious image to start my day! And gaining grams - wonderful.

I feel for you...healing from a c-section is especially rough because you were in labor AND dialated. Your body is healing from two major events/processes. Then add your bedrest dilema in there and I am sure you are having quite the time trying to heal!

If it makes you feel any better, in about two weeks you should notice a HUGE difference in way you feel!! I remember waking up one morning about two weeks after jack was born and all the sudden it was easy to sit on the toilet, walk up the stairs, and go from standing to sitting. Hang in there!

And for little miss ruby, what a darling gal!

Good luck healing. If you need some internet sites to keep you busy, just lemme know. I have quite the collection now.

peopleofwalmart.com is one our recent favorites, and failblog.org is funny.

They are beautiful! Congratulations to the new happy parents. Get your rest now, because soon enough I'm sure there will be none. You are amazing. Very few people are even capable of having triplet, so I applaude you. Heavenly Father is watching over you and those little ones. My prayers are with you.

Hello Ruby! Good morning! What a cutie. (And sometimes premie babies aren't so cute.) I hope you are taking the nurses' advice and resting - it is the best thing you can do for your body and for the babies! (If you are stressed or super tired you don't produce as much milk)
Love you! Congrats again!

Healing is sure tough no matter what, but I think you should cut yourself a lot of extra slack, enjoy your nights you have to sleep right now, and get lots of snuggles from KC! And let everyone spoil you while you are healing. You will need your energy later. :)
